 Foreshadowing winter’s eminent arrival, the Goldenrod now appears to have a fresh coating of snowflakes. Coneflower and Aster. I have found that leaving these plants uncut provide a pleasing feature in the otherwise flat scene for me while also providing food and rest for nature’s visitors during our harsh Midwest winter.
